You meant to use jilted (as in jilted lovers) - gilted means covered in a thin layer of gold… and if you wanted gilted you’d probably be better of using gilded which is a much more commonly used word for essentially the same connotation of richness.

Umm, I’m sorry but it’s not ‘be better of’ it’s ‘be better off’.
Logic dictates that “Jilted” means “covered in Jold”. Ergo, “jold” is a synonym for whatever causes “unfavored” or “fallen out of favor”
“We have too much jold and should get a divorce”
I see no flaw in this logic
