First, Democrats like to think the other side is stupid. Trump is not stupid. Trump is malicious. Democrats are stupid when they underestimate their enemies.

Trump is a product of religious nationalism whose leaders have joined together and confirmed what many Democrats have known for decades, that a majority of churches in America are nothing more than a cult.

Trump represents that group who wants authority to brainwash and traumatize a large percentage of American people into their cult. They want to integrate religion and law so that you don’t have a choice anymore about what you believe and neither will your kids.

The leaders of the Trump cult don’t actually believe in the Bible. Trump is just a tool to maintain their wealth and power. You can’t maintain a cult when you’re followers are able to think rationally.

Biden is being selfish. He knows the polls are showing he’s going to lose. He knows people never voted for him, but instead they voted no to Trump (who represents religious nationalism). Biden should have never ran a second term. He was never popular. The only thing that was popular was Trump not winning.

If the polls are showing the cult has suckered more people in and he’s going to lose, maybe we should find a candidate that tbose considering joining the cult can relate to… That gives them hope, inspiration, and that appears strong and admirable on the outside.

So… Biden could target SCOTUS as being treasonous & appoint new justices under immunity with the three remaining liberal justices quickly ruling he has executive privilege to do so?

That is why she’d be so successful. She’d give them strokes. She’d get constant media coverage. They would give her so much publicity the news would always be about her. She’s good looking and talks well. She’d look badass in the White House.

The transcripts has repetition and long pauses removed. I agree they will use those audio tapes against him, but for Biden’s team to try to hide the memory loss and then say the other side is lying only gives Republicans more ammo. He must have known his base would be defend him only to be shown that the Republicans actually had something right for once.

The issue with Kamala is people can now say she’s known about Joe for a while and kept it hidden for selfish reasons. I think there are lot of Dems that could do better than Biden, but there isn’t much time left like you said. The sooner, it shows that Biden himself isn’t just power hungry, and people will be empathetic given what they saw during the debate. I don’t see how it would hurt the odds for a party to do what is right for once.

Pre debate and postdebate polls, aggregate sampling data, testing public sentiment on social media, comparing similarities to polls for Clinton to drop run in 2016 for Bernie who was polling higher, etc.

The delegates don’t have to pick Biden. If it is clear doing so will result in a loss they likely wouldn’t. If Biden steps aside they won’t have have to either. The issue is the delegates were picked cause they are loyal to corporate Democrats so they are less likely to pick a candidate that would crush Trump like Bernie.

Before I report you for abusing this community’s rules how about you just move on and you can vent your frustration internally over Biden’s historically significant terrible debate performance.

He isn’t just old, but struggled to remember most of what he spent the previous 7 days prepping for. He did an okay job domestically… he had some wins but he also did some really stupid and terrible things like threatening to arrest railroad workers for demanding better working conditions, and saying how much he is a Zionist. He didn’t fix ERISA, housing or inflation. If we’re comparing him against Trump then not enabling domestic extremist is a good job.

He gets infinite free media coverage. The Democrats could pick AOC and the right would have a meltdown. She’d get consistent media coverage. She is good looking and would do good for pressers.

Really? Go watch what Biden said when Trump called him a Palestinian. Biden was like summarily… “I’m not that P word. I love Israel and will do anything for my donors, including enabling genocide.”
