There’s a big difference between having ideas and taking actions. Ideas cannot be allowed to become illegal. Even disgusting ones.

Do whatever you want to Elon or to Tesla buildings or unsold inventory or superchargers, but don’t fuck with cars in public lots. People own those cars and haul their families in them. People have multi-year loans on them. Cars aren’t disposable at the drop of a new twist in public opinion. Even if they were, most people don’t choose their cars based on political tribalism.

Speaking for me, I value the idea that the consequences of my life wind up being more positive than negative for future generations. I also value feeling like I’ve changed things for the better now, and so when I have a platform or any influence I aim for that.
