I get on my VPN to provide less data to Google. Routing my traffic through an advertising company always felt like a bad idea to me.

If we had a functioning government in the US, this could be less of a problem. I wonder how we get one of those?
Wu-tang is for the children.
Yes. Diplomacy is good. War is bad. Killing civilians is bad. Abducting people is bad. But diplomacy is good.
I leave mine stock yellow, but it is kind of a cool thing when you see a bunch of different color emojis liking a post. Feels nice and diverse lol.
I’m sorry, was that expensive piece?
I think a substantial number of voters are going to hold their noses and vote for the shitty candidate their party presented.
It’ll be interesting to see how many people stay home compared to prior elections. People are super political and angry for a variety of reasons, but the choices are awful.
A person with good ideas that leaves their religion at the door would be swell right now. Religion only divides us into smaller, scarier groups. (See: Christian nationalism, women’s rights, the middle east, etc.)

True, it’s just a little too magical for my brain to process. To me he was a prophet and probably a good dude… but that’s probably about it.

Some friends of mine recently moved to Europe from the US. They are happy with the decision, but it was a huge strain on their family to make the move.
They had to secure jobs, a place to live, and figure out what to do with their pets. On top of that they have to learn a new language, get their kids enrolled in school, and continue to live their lives. It’s possible but daunting, and most people can’t do it because of family.
