Last episode of Dragon Weekly Americano, we witnessed the once heroic group known as the Supreme Court Justice 9 reveal their evil plans meant to enslave the citizens. The author made the villains so strong, the emboldened villains themselves wrote themselves a weakness knowing that there is no opposition strong enough to wield the mighty power of “Absolute Immunity” against them. That’s more of an issue of gerrymandering and Electoral College, which unfortunately are not even issues in the news lately. The gerrymandering is proof we elect horrible people repeatedly.

Everyone has an equal vote in the US (of course I’m not talking about felons, etc. who lost their vote). Everyone is just so scared “of the other guy winning” they don’t elect the person who should win. There isn’t a candidate even bothering with a “crawl back to democracy” plan with the end of gerrymandering, federal protection for absentee ballots, better healthcare laws to allow better movement between jobs (why not do Medicare For All which takes out the middleman?), etc. The people still have the power, they are too scared they will lose what position they have in society if they attempt to use it.

Democracy isn’t failing, propaganda is just winning.

edit: Why should there be a candidate who wants to make things better? Why put resources into that kind of work when it’s not even needed to secure votes.

It’s on purpose. Democrats whole platform is “other side is evil and you’ll go along with anything we do.” If you mention this on Lemmy, people put their tin foil hats on and call you a Trump supporter. Now we have two fascist parties that we “have” to vote for.

But thank God those people who call me a Trump supporter are also trolling users (of most likely Asian descent) about how evil China is and they should like Biden better than whatever Winnie the Pooh’s real name is.

It’s a great program if you like watching people laugh at old people for being old. Basically what I’m saying is this program was elderly abuse.

He’s tired from fighting for your right to actually own what you buy (as in being able to repair and modify). Which is important in this era of manufactured waste.

His channel is mainly reviews. He isn’t running a “makers” channel or even one like GamersNexus (explaining things in depth) or LTT (covers broad range of topics and demonstrations).

I think the Republican elites don’t hate gays as much as they used to due to prominent GOP members having openly gay children (like McCain’s daughter).

I see it as a three way deadlock (older Republicans that are GOP) that accepted gay people, younger Republicans who are not exactly for it but don’t persecute them, Trump/MTG (Trumplibicans) who just say stereotypical bigotry even though they are “sexual deviants” by their own standards.

His review on those AI gadgets were pretty scathing. Though, the claim here is that he is biased for Apple, not for whoever sends him devices.

He is every harsh on manufacturers and OEMs when they do bad things. He gave up on being nice and I fully understand why. We need more regulations in the tech industry, especially around warranty claims.

Reminds me of Pokemon. I skipped out on Scarlet and Violet (9th gen) because I knew it was going to carry the issues 8th gen had. Both generations still sold extremely well. 9th gen didn’t review as well 8th gen but the reviews were still carried by nostalgia and not critical enough.

You should vote regardless if your dad does or who your dad votes for.

Sometimes a large company will stop assisting you if you go against their talking points. For example Hardware Unboxed got in trouble for saying, raytracing isn’t as big of a deal as Nvidia is making it and it will remain that way for at least the next few years. Thanks to influence of several big Youtubers (like Steve Burke and Linus Sebastien), Nvidia changed their minds.

He does great videos

Mbkhd’s studio, talking/narrating skills, editing skills, and skills in explaining tech in simple terms are extremely high quality. He just needs to be more honest about famous companies.

Probably has to suck-up inorder to get products early so his reviews can be viewed first. I wish all of these reviewers would be honest as Steve Burke (GamersNexus).
