Yeah, you need butter, milk, gravy or water to make it mushy.
Good to know, thanks!
Which Linux distro are you using? I’m considering switching over somewhere this year, but I’m not sure which distro would be best for gaming + regular user stuff.
Block them or move to another platform. I block everyone on Facebook who feels the need to make negative comments, regardless of whether I expect to encounter them again. Really cleans up the place.
In my experience as a metalhead, punks want to look tough and flashy: spikes, strong colours, sturdy clothes, etc.
Metalheads want to look epic like Legolas (or, in the case if black metal, angry Legolas).
As said, thrift shops will have lots of stuff that fit either profile, or both. Just think about what you want your character to be like and have fun! There’s no fashion police, so you can’t really mess up.
Besides, lots of metalheads wear kilts to concerts and festivals, so that’s a good start. Add a black shirt and black boots and you’re done with the basic look.
Almost forgot: The Pillars of the Earth is a great adventure game, following a number of medieval people throughout their lives, in the context of the building of a cathedral. It’s on sale at GOG right now: https://www.gog.com/en/game/ken_folletts_the_pillars_of_the_earth_season_pass
Four Last Things has two sequels. I haven’t gotten around to the last game yet, but I really enjoyed the first two. They’re puzzle games trying yo get as many fart jokes out of Renaissance paintings as possible.
There’s a sale going on on the entire bundle, including a fun earlier game by the same guy: https://store.steampowered.com/bundle/47089/The_Games_by_Joe_Richardson_Bundle/
Maybe he is the original photographer and he just found this pic on an old computer after not using the internet for ten years.
Thanks for the insight! StarCraft 2 is in a similar state (remaining healthy and fun despite the lack of developer support), so that’s a good sign :)
Good to hear! Is it still fun to play?
I burned out because of the constant pressure from battle passes and meta changes, so a more stable meta might not be all that bad.
Oh sorry, I misread the thing about new cards, but the rest holds up!
Thanks! I checked the website, and apparently Ranked is still active enough that the devs are putting effort into new cards, rotations and patches: https://playruneterra.com/en-us/news/game-updates/patch-5-10-notes/
Maybe I’ll try it again before November. Too bad there isn’t an active LoR community on Lemmy.
Is LoR still alive? I used to play it for a few years until I just got tired of CCGs in general, but the Arcane season 2 trailer made me all nostalgic again. Back then (before the Reddit exodus) it seemed like the game would be taken down anytime soon.
