Both the left and right 100% worship at the altar of capitalism. What the people want doesnt factor into much except the votes every 2-4 years, which are heavily steered and give us little real democratic control of our future. Capitalism maximizes profits and couldnt care less whats good for society.

I’m not saying the left and the right are the same, but they work for the same bosses, and thats the rich, not us. You and I only really exist as abstract concepts to them, not as fellow humans. Our carefully curated votes are a means to an end, and that end is not whats good for the people of the country.

Once our votes are removed as trump said he’d do, we serve little real purpose to them. Why incentivize your workforce when you can make them live in fear and pay them less?

  • our most important ally in the Middle East

Israel causes no end of problems in the region and has nonstop for 80 years. They are a tremendous burden to us for very little gain. They have not helped in any of our middle east efforts. One of their key tenets is no foreign troops on their soil. We dont even resupply our ships there. It was a major event in 2016 when we resupplied a single ship there and it hasnt repeated. We have no shared airstrip and no operational capability centered out of there. We have a single joint owned radar station with a dozen men in it in the negev.

American fighters were not even allowed to land in Israel when they were defending Israel from Iranian missiles. They operated out of Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan.

Israel is flatly not an important ally, much less the most important ally. Lebanon was an ally. Jordan is an ally, as is Turkey. Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Qatar are also key allies. The thing all our allies have in common is that they have a problem with Israel.

  • oh no, bad vibes is it. I run the risk of not being “any better”? You seem to think its all about perceived superiority in this trashheap of a party and election outcome that we are all sitting in together.

Did it maybe occurr to you that I’m giving off the same vibes as OP because I agree with OP?

Dems could have come out en masse for “uncommitted” in the primary and most of them chose not to. It would have cost them nothing, Biden still would have won but he’d have received a message against genocide sent pretty loudly, but nope, anyone who suggested it was shouted down by their fellow dems. Seems to prove that most of them wont lift a finger for their principles even if its completely free. So that proves what I said about Dems pretending to care about the genocide.

and so what if I block people? How does that affect you in any way? It doesnt.

  • Its pointless to point fingers now but that seems to be why you post. I think you need validation that what you did was the “right” thing. Even if it meant abandoning all your principles, and the lower and middle class in the process. Well I’m here for you buddy. Let me be the robin to your batman:

Yes! You are soo right redditrefugee69!! if it werent for literally every demographic of voter except college educated whites, Kamala would have won! damn them all! The minorities are the bane of our existence! And what happened to all those republicans who we worked so hard on? How dare they turn their backs on a Cheney! We had a cheney republican and a “liberal” dem up there, that should have covered all the bases!

Do you know the worst of the minorities who turned their back on dems? it was Native Americans!! Lets talk about how evil and bad they are!!

  • it could have been easier to push the Democrats left if they actually won.

88% of Americans didnt approve of Israels actions in gaza and Biden supported it anyway. Why would Dems change long standing policy after the election if they won? Its a ridiculous idea thats not based on historical fact at this point. Thats without even considering AIPAC bribes having locked both the dems and repubs into supporting whatever they want, forever-- bribes paid for using american taxpayer money disguised as “aid”. Israel is the only foreign aid recipient who gets all their money up front, and a big chunk of it can be spent as they please, not earmarked for weapons or purchases in the US. They can buy hookers and blow with our aid money if they want to. Of course they will use some of that money for bribes and election interference.
