That’s a great fantasy, but New York doesn’t have the death penalty, and he didn’t commit a federal crime. He won’t get the death penalty, he’ll likely get first degree murder and serve 30-life assuming they can show he targeted the actual victim and it wasn’t just the first person he saw that looked like they might be a UHG executive.
There is no planet on which UHC or anyone else wanted to be forced to cover patients with pre-existing conditions at anything resembling a reasonable cost.
Do I think Obama gave up way too much in negotiations? Absolutely. Do I think you’re a moron if you think this was “all part of private insurance’s master plan”? Absolutely.
There’s a reason Trump keeps talking about “replacing” Obamacare. And it’s not just his ego, private insurance wants it gutted.
Except it’s not at all. We elect the president and give him/her special privilege with that vote. I don’t and would not vote for my tax dollars to pay for billionaires getting special protection.
