Galaxy Xcover series.
Probably Douglas Adam’s:
The Encyclopedia Galactica defines a robot as a mechanical apparatus designed to do the work of a man. The marketing division of the Sirius Cybernetics Corporation defines a robot as "Your Plastic Pal Who’s Fun to Be With.” The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy defines the marketing devision of the Sirius Cybernetic Corporation as "a bunch of mindless jerks who’ll be the first against the wall when the revolution comes…”
Reported an issue with the name. I know I’m shouting into the void on this but a small poke in the eye makes me feel better.
Nope, because every damn VW dealership will mark it up to stupid levels. If they can’t make money suckering you in for maintenance, they are going to take it off the top. Hell, right now there suing because VAG is trying a different approach for Scout sales.
To be fair, most/all kernels are written on a hardware abstraction layer, although lot of that kernel was built off of VMS… 😂
Didn’t NT 3.x or 4.x run on a RISC CPU back in the day?
The NJ ripped (deep fried) ones are missing. Also the Carolina is misplaced. The slaw dog originated in WV.
New Balance has 4E and I struck gold with XLFeet.com too.
Most all countries, as a whole, do much better in all parts of the educational system. The fun part is, if these chucklefucks get their way and seriously reduce or eliminate the department of education things are going to seriously roll right back to serfdom.
Great post, thanks!
I read about it yesterday morning and my school district sent out an email The same evening. I believe had it not been published they would have stayed quiet.
I’m pretty sure IBM sold the branding to them since they were already doing the manufacturing. They still do the warranty/maintenance work, though based on the last two call outs I’ve had with their “techs” I might opt for depot repairs or taking it to the local Micro Center for warranty work.
Considering how badly VAG is doing on EV front I’d worry about the reliability and pricing on any Scout products. I hadn’t heard about Telo though, that looks incredibly interesting of course it’ll fly about as well as a station wagon here in the US but what’s basically an electric kei car is a wicked concept.

The 2025 Kia‘s EV6’s (and other models?) have the NACS and AFAIK, all EV6 models can do V2H. Some require an adapter and others have outlets in the base of the rear seats.
Also in January there is supposedly an update coming to enable compatibility with the supercharger network.
I’m hopeful for an official SteamOS update (cross grade? 🤔) for the Legion GO.
I appreciate being able run Steam on it, but I feel like I could probably get a little bit better experience with it running on bare metal. Sometimes the joycons are wonky…
Considering that Ford’s CEO has gone on record as not wanting to return the Chinese EV that was imported for him, you would think this would be a wake up call that their offerings aren’t on par with everyone else else’s.
Code enforcement in cities and towns, especially more are more to blame for this than any other factor. Where I’m from the more affluent suburbs, barring in any kind of real individual expression or even signage.
