Nah, he’s real and he frikkin’ rocks!
Turns out my kid loves telling stories and fantastical fun adventures! He now loves drawing comics and playing DnD. We do both together!
I love my kid. He’s so awesome and kind and creative and smart. 💕
It’s funny in the sense of “are you reading what this moron wrote? They actually think this? Pathetic.”
The whole thing is so fucking ridiculous that anyone who truly thinks this way should be mocked.
Most of the comments here are pointing out how stupid it is and talking about personal accountability and the actual reality of relationships.
It’s not an endorsement — it’s a window into the clown show.
Aye. Anyone who idolizes Rorschach is the same person who idolizes Tyler Durden — they’ve missed the entire point of the character in the story.
People are allowed to be critical of entertainment, and that includes comedy. In fact, sometimes you should be critical of things that people brand as “comedy”.
Sometimes things are problematic, regardless of their intent as “comedy”. And that’s normal. Comedy often ages very poorly. Remember all those movies that used rape & sexual assault as a punchline? Should we not be critical of blackface because it’s supposed to be “comedy”? Should we turn off our brains because “it’s just a joke”?
You’re allowed to laugh. Others are allowed to be more critical. Both are valid.
Relax.
You absolutely don’t have to! Parenthood is not always an instant connection. I loved my child, sure, but they were more like a needy roommate to start off. I developed the bond as we went. It eventually clicked after some months.
And remember: you always love your child– but it’s okay to have times where you just sometimes don’t like them. Especially good to remember during the toddler stage!
Yeah, babies are ugly. Don’t think I’ve ever seen a baby I would consider “cute”. Grody little misshapen potato humans.
Yeah, it’s true.
Honestly, I didn’t even like mine, to begin with. But they grew on me. The hormones had me tolerating all the craziness that small creature put me through.
Love 'em to bits now that they’ve grown past that stage!
As someone who has a child and is also a survivor of abuse: it’s in very poor taste to compare babies to abusers.
Y’all testin’ me.
All she had to do was specify between the two. She did not. I had to get the info from someone else.
But then again, I’m probably the fool for assuming her common sense is at least baseline.
It wasn’t even a yes-or-no question!!!
“Was it this guy? Or the other guy?” = “Yes”
anon doesn’t realize that they actually are autistic
I hope my pain brought people joy.
Wield it like a baseball bat. That’ll teach him!
This is nice.
Y’all are nice. (:
I was about to go over there and give her a medical emergency.
He’s doing better now, thanks!
But my dear sister is still the same, unfortunately.
I could never hope to produce such great works.
