Capitalism: “Always remember we have hostages”
Capitalism: “Always remember we have hostages”
Take a bag, fill it with water, and grip it loosely at the top so all your fingers wrap around like a loose fist.
Now, without turning the bag, use your other hand to empty it by squeezing out the water.
You get most of it out, but there’s still some in there, even if you squeeze violently and it seems like nothing else can come out.
Also, for most of human history, if you’ve poisoned yourself ingesting something, chances are the next thing you’re ingesting is still poisoned. It’s only recently we’ve worked out distilled poison and purified water. So, biologically speaking, better to just be sick for a day so you can get to a different water/food source.
Everett fucking obliterated that man.
I don’t know anything about EV efficiency, but the rates are inverse, so they are drastically different.
Fish gets 3.3kwh/mile
Peacock gets 4 miles/kwh or 0.25kwh/mile
“Conservitism” to them is synonymous with capitalism first and foremost. In their dichotomy, everything that isn’t that is communism and therefore (since big communist regimes are fascist) fascist.
Which is a shame because if you look at the source material (a single issue comic from 1973 where he battles King Triton in Atlantis to free the Bikini Lesbians) you really need to understand the history of the surfboard to fully appreciate his character.

The real key is local bottling where local production isn’t possible.
Ship vats of Coca-Cola syrup to the 200 largest cities (more or less) in North America and create local bottle circulation.
Spice it up with local bottle designs or recycling marks. Now you’ve got novelty sales, collector sales, eco-conscious sales, ‘support local’ sales…
I completely agree when it comes to luxury items. In fact, I fully support the luxury version industry.
When this shit applies to the standard version is where we should be drawing our ire; when the $20 bag costs $0.11 to make.
