I probably have more time in RO back in the day than any other game I’ve ever played! I played on Chaos and Sakray mostly, maybe 2-3k hours of just wearing hats and chatting with friends outside of Prontera or in Payon (RIP Old Payon.) So many fond memories!

There’s oodles of torrents on one of my private trackers labeled WOC—With original commercials. I LOVE THEM, such a fascinating look into my childhood.

When I’m separated from my partner at festivals and need to find them, I shriek like dactyl… they shriek back… and we converge. It has worked every time.
I drank pods and drip for years before ordering a pourover thingy. The first time I tried nice, freshly ground pourover it was like I was drinking coffee for the first time. The taste is sooooo much better! I’ve also done French press, but pourover is easier to clean. I like pourover better than anything else.
I can’t drink coffee anymore—caffeine ruins my body and makes me think I’m dying. But I miss it so!
I sold computers at the time this thing came out. We had one of these sealed away in an acrylic cube. When closing the store one day, I discovered that someone had CUT THE CUBE IN HALF and stolen the computer (but left the dock and charging cord.) Absolutely insane that nobody noticed them do that.
Can’t go wrong with a trusty Glock 19!

It was snowy out and I was in the car with my partner about to take off to work. We had a roommate at that time. I looked over at the house and roommate comes out, slips, and falls. I tell my partner “oh nooo… Roomate fell…” as they’re trying to get the car started.
Roommate attempts to get back up, slips again… gets halfway up, falls again… stands fully up, does a little kinda jog-in-place, falls again… I tell my partner “he’s… still falling…”

Thaaaaat takes me back. When I was a young acolyte I loved hanging out by GH cross and healbomb spamming the same monster with other acos and sitting in the cross for buffs and regaining mana. Then the damn hunterflies…
Demon Days was definitely on my playlist (obv downloaded from Napster.) That and System of a Down’s self-titled and Toxicity were staples. Until I discovered Opeth and listened to that on repeat hahaha
