  • Yes because if it can save a life then it’s worth it… No one deserves to die because they got into a car. Do you know how you fix it? Make the default unlocked so if it loses power it’s going to open… There are ways to fix things so they will work as intended.

And no shit if you get hit in the side I wouldn’t expect anyone to think a broken bend door is going to function. But if the only thing wrong with it is that it no longer has power and therefore doesn’t open?

I’m glad you have nothing but great experiences with your car and that’s fine… And Tesla opened the patents so other car makers could do EVs… That’s great.

But fuck them for helping making huge screens the standard. And lying constantly about self driving…only using cameras for automated driving… And the shitty quality control for luxury cars… they have recalls after recalls…

So yeah you should be upset, because Tesla for a short while was great… I thought about it way back when but the screen always held me back.

Have you looked at other EVs? More and more are coming out from the big car brands and newer ones.

  • You forget about conformity, if something doesn’t work how one would expect it to especially in an emergency then it’s poorly designed.

If you pull a door handle the expected result is that it releases the door to be opened… If for every door you had to push, pull, lift, turn, check for a secret lever you would think door’s are shit…

    And that’s exactly what’s happening here…

It only follows the standard when it’s not damaged…

If my house slides into water we got a lot more issues happening and my doors will still work as expected…
