Sure, it’s easier not to confront any of your problems, and act like 100kg is still “skinny fat” somehow. But wallowing in self-pity isn’t going to make anything better, and it’s the worst for your social life, which in turn is the worst for your mental health.
I don’t expect you’ll hear this either, and that’s okay. I hope you find your way out of your misery at some point.

Nothing wrong with very general rules, as long as you pick the right ones.
Don’t bully people. Don’t be an asshole. Don’t use or threaten with violence. Etc.
Even better are general positive rules: Be nice to other people. Be kind. Give constructive feedback. Etc.
Backing up “word is” by an article that says “word is” is kinda meager though. There are many things widely believed to be true that are not, or only mildly so our in specific circumstances.

I learned Latex for my master thesis. Never used it again afterwards, except for my resumé.
Taking out the high-pitch whine will make them much more bearable. It’s a student project, they did well. This isn’t groundbreaking Noble-prize stuff, but it doesn’t deserve all the hate it’s getting here either.
That makes 0 latency in the monitor, but how much latency is there in the drivers that convert a digital image to analogue signals? Isn’t the latency just moved to the PC side?
