Where I live, I can only think of 1 bakery that isn’t Greggs. They’ve entirely taken over. It wasn’t much better before tbf. There was a home-grown chain that bought them all out beforehand, until they folded, then greggs bought it all cheap

One of my favourite names for anything is these being called ‘desire lines’. It’s so whimsical.
