So most of Trump’s are just outright lies, edible most of Biden’s are things like “Well it’s true it happened but it’s hard to know if it’s because of him,” or “It’s true Trump said that a bunch of times but he hasn’t been saying that lately.”
Really sorry to hear about your mom. I’m older, and both my parents are dead. You’d think that, since it’s the norm than your parents die before their kids, we’d be more emotionally prepared for our parents dying, but I found it pretty tough in both cases. The second one is particularly bad. Hang in there and focus on the good memories.

I agree, and have said the same repeatedly. In 2020, I just wanted a president who wasn’t a complete crook, con man, and national embarrassment. I didn’t think Biden would accomplish much, I just hoped he could repair our reputation with other countries a little.
I was stunned that Biden accomplished more than Obama. He certainly isn’t perfect, but he’s fine a good job. Just that infrastructure bill would be something most presidents would take as their legacy, but he’s done a lot more.
He’s too damned old, but I’ll still take him over Trump.
It’s gotten better, and I agree. I’m really happy about them turning off the mics. But I still think they’re letting Trump ramble more than Biden.
Everyone is just hoping their guy doesn’t say something that will hurt their campaign. Not sure anyone is happy though.

Oh, for sure. And I’ve worked with enough really sharp older people to know their words can get flubbed up when they’re on the spot when even though their brains are sharp.
I don’t know, I’m for sure voting Biden, but I can’t say he’s doing great. He’s doing a little better when he’s getting riled, but he sounds old - more than three years older than Trump.
Is it my imagination or are they moderators letting Trump go on while cutting Biden off most of the time?
I wish Biden would slow down, he’s getting flustered and can’t seem to find his words. Trump is just acting like it’s a rally, saying whatever the hell he wants and making shit up. This is ridiculous.
Two observations:
As others pointed out, there are an awful lot of people who live in places where $100-150k is not close to wealthy. A small number of large, expensive cities has a giant percentage of the population.
How is anyone surprised that when inflation stays up for a while, people find it hard to maintain their standard of living. When you compare the person making $150k to the person making $100k, it doesn’t mean that they’re pocketing $50k every year, it means that they’re likely renting a more expensive place or paying on a more expensive car. They’re likely both just living within their means and, of you make everything in life cost more, both are going to have a hard time paying their bills. It’s not until you get to people who are making more than they can spend that that changes.
Yeah, it really is one of the most egregious examples of organized racism in the modern era. A white minority of an entire town holding onto power over the black majority by unlawful and unethical practices that they coordinated.
Good news. One of the most overt examples of organized racism in the modern era. I hope they make real change.
And in 1975, it was something known enough that it could be in movie and people knew what they were talking about.

Strange that the article doesn’t mention that, since Biden claimed executive privilege, Garland can’t turn the audio over.
Trump’s lies have gotten so over the top. We’re like two steps away from him saying he was one of the guys who walked on the moon.
