The killer entered New York City by bus on Nov. 24, when a surveillance camera at Port Authority Bus Terminal caught his arrival at 9 p.m., law enforcement sources told ABC News.
If they knew that for sure, they would know who it was. This sounds more like “Of course our surveillance state is working; Don’t you plebes get any ideas.”
From that I’d say they have pretty good matches on him. The bad news for him is that these days with surveillance, you need to be really sneaky before you commit a crime as well as after. It’s hard to cover all your tracks on the way in and on the way out.
It looks like they’re getting better pictures of his face, that’s real bad for him. Personally, I’m not confident he’s getting away with this. It would probably be wise to leave the country asap.
If he is caught and brought before a jury of his peers, then anything might happen. Not sure they will find a jury where all of the jurors will vote to convict him even if the evidence is crystal clear. Cops knowing this as well, I wonder if the guy will not have an “accident” before they catch him.

He was supposedly using a fake ID, so they trace the fake ID back to the bus tickets…
Doesn’t mean they would know who he was.
His name is Rowan Atkinson
I knew it!
Last thing the CEO saw…
Why would you need an ID for a bus ticket?
I mean, Greyhound lists it as something that they use to let you on the bus without a ticket.

It’s the second and third entry under the “Your Tickets” section.
Even IF they didn’t ask for it and it wasn’t needed, he could used the same name to get a bus ticket that his fake ID showed.
Realistically not having a physical ticket is one less thing to worry about losing that could have fingerprints on it.
I thought this was an MTA bus
I believe they are talking about the bus from ATL to NYC.
What bus from ATL?
Quick search because I’m too lazy to find the original article I read.

This has been known since the day after (likely the day of) the shooting.
Sorry, its literally in the link that we’re both commenting on

Well, here’s hoping.
