Rivian leads the industry in owner satisfaction, with Tesla coming in third — making it two all-electric automakers in the top three.

Consumer Reports has released its latest owner satisfaction survey results. Rivian is taking the top spot for the second year in a row, an impressive feat for a relatively new automaker.

Here, I am an idiot asshole and very satisfied with my Tesla.

The last 5 1/2 years I only paid 160€ in service to replace my 12V battery and my wipers. For the battery they even came to my house to replace it. The autopilot drives for me on the autobahn, the interior is nice and the car is quiet, efficient and quick. The superchargers are incredibly easy to use and I never had to worry about range because the navigation system is excellent at planning charging stops.

The only bad thing I can say about the car is that it is quite big for the EU market and I would prefer a smaller one.

If it weren’t for their asshole CEO I would have no question which car to purchase right now. Luckily I can get some more years out of this one so I will just wait.

have many stupid features like becoming non-functional during updates.

As opposed to being able to drive it while your mechanic sits on your lap and updates your car? You can choose when to update.

Not to mention that most of those software updates take less than 30 minutes to install. If I get a notice about one when I’m about to use the car then I ignore it. If I’m at home and sitting down to dinner then I install it knowing it’ll be complete long before I need the car again.
