For a brief shining moment, a lot of people would cheer. But afterwards, it’s still the survivors that have to deal with the consequences.
As dumb as the general public is, I feel like very few people would be cheering. Pretty much just the doomers who genuinely want the world to end
I think it would be mixed feelings of omg big pretty explosion and oh god oh fuck the world is ending
