    This works either way. The idiots will say, “See! You can’t trust the CDC!”. Or, in case they find vaccines causing autism, “Now the CDC is coming out with great results since Trump/Musk took over!”

    OTOH, I’m not sure why they’re bothering. Maybe this is a legit CDC initiative to combat misinformation and not the administration’s idea?

    And here we are, in a world where I don’t know whether to trust the CDC. Fuck me.

    Folks they dont care about the results. They’re just trying to erode public trust in institutions.

      False, they’ve already decided what the result is going to be. The research is to give them data points to cherry pick and present to the public.
